#1 Download HldsUpdateTool Link: http://storefront.steampowered.com/down ... tetool.exe
#2 Install it to C:\HLserver
#3 go to C:\HLserver and right click on HldsUpdateTool.exe and send it too desktop as shortcut
#4 Goto desktop and right click on the Hldsupdatetool shortcut goto properties and click on the shortcut tab in the target box after "C:\HLServer\HldsUpdateTool.exe" add the following:
-command update -game garrysmod -dir c:\HLServer
#5 Run Hldsupdatetool.exe and let it download everything this will take a LOOOOOOOONG time depending on connection speed.
#6 Go back into the C:\HLserver folder now you have 2 new folders Hl2 and Orangebox go into orange box and right click srcds.exe and send it to the desktop as a shortcut
#7 Goto the desktop and right click on scrds goto properties and in the target box after "C:\HLServer\orangebox\srcds.exe" put
-game garrysmod
#8 Go into your web browser & type the ip adress of you modem.
log in to your modem and find the port forwarding options usually in advanced settings and port forward the following ports
TCP 27015
UDP 27015
#10 You can now run the server and have people join but here's a few extra things
You can ad addons to the server by putting the addons in the C:\HLserver\orangebox\garrysmod\addons folder
